This workshop concerns the practice of using field recordings as a means to generate soundscapes through a kind of techno-architecture, meaning that we want to emphasise how different tools and techniques allow us to better understand the superimposition of sound and space in a more technological setting. It aims to expand on a phenomenological approach to sound recording through the creation of an evolving generative piece of sound art that requires participation from all attendants.
